Ann Marie Brunk opened her full service Medical Billing company in Loveland Colorado in December 2006. Immediately prior, she had been Vice Chair and then Commissioner of the Human Services Commission for the City of Loveland on a voluntary basis.
And then there were her 30 years of management responsibility at Qwest Communications International, a $12 Billion public company. Those recent years of working for local government in senior capacities and having had various management roles in a Fortune 100 company over a period of decades, have perfectly prepared Ann Marie to be an outstanding Medical Billing expert.
At her company, Healthcare Billing Solutions, Ann Marie has quickly become the go-to-person for getting clients reimbursed faster, negotiating forthrightly with insurance companies, expediting paperwork with the best of them, and being organized beyond belief. One of the best customer service people out there, Ann Marie demonstrates every day, in every way, the willingness to find solutions and the keenness to support her clients to the max.
And look – she is still smiling!
That wide grin is not slapped on – it comes from the inside out and carries Ann Marie through the day – no matter how intransigent the insurance company and no matter how daunting the details of a particular claim turn out to be.
What fellow AMBA members, who nominated Ann for Member of the Year, say about her:
“Ann is a wonderful and valuable resource and has helped me and spoke to me a number of times giving me support and advice.”
“She has such enthusiasm and great character. I love her energy and willingness to share with others.”
When you outsource your billing with HBS, you’re working with the best in the business – even her peers say so!
Brunk takes no bunk. She has Medical Billing mastered.
The proof of that statement?
Ann Marie was recognized in the 3rd year of her firm’s existence as “Member of the Year” of the American Medical Billing Association (AMBA).
And in her 2nd year, she was a 5-star award recipient from the same national body.
Ann Marie founded the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the AMBA and served as President thru December 2011. Currently she is an active member of AMBA’s National Advisory Board.
